MCOMP LLC ("MCOMP," "we," or "us") provides the MCOMP website, desktop application, and related services. This policy explains the information we use to provide the service and the optional information you can choose to share.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
We process account details such as your email address, identity and organization membership; information you or your organization enter into MCOMP; and requests needed to deliver features you use. Our servers and service providers also process request, device, and security information needed to authenticate users, operate the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot failures. Rejecting optional collection does not stop this essential processing.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
The website uses authentication cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in. It may use local storage for interface preferences. A browser tab may store a temporary session identifier for optional app-usage monitoring, but that monitoring starts only after you allow it. Where the access-request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, Cloudflare may use its own technologies to check for automated abuse. We do not use advertising pixels or web beacons in the website or desktop app.
Optional App Usage
If you allow App usage, MCOMP records which signed-in website routes and services are active, whether the tab is visible, and session timing. The desktop app records an active session, operating-system platform, and app version. These records are associated with your account and organization and help us understand use and improve the service. Website route patterns do not include the identifiers or query strings entered in a page URL.
Optional Built-in Browser Diagnostics
If you allow Built-in browser diagnostics, the desktop app can send events about built-in browser use, automation outcomes, blocks, proxy health, and troubleshooting observations. These may include the site, event time, app and browser versions, sanitized URLs, hashed profile or proxy identifiers, and cookie names or metadata. Cookie values, passwords, and authentication tokens are not included in these reports. Browser diagnostics are separate from the cookies and data stored locally by websites you visit in the built-in browser; those sites have their own privacy practices.
Your Choices
Accept All enables both optional categories. Reject All disables both. Manage lets you choose each category separately. Your choice is saved to your MCOMP account and applies to the website and desktop app after sign-in, including on another browser or device. You can change it at any time using Privacy choices in either app. Optional reporting stays off until a current choice is available. Changing your choice stops future optional collection for the categories you turn off; it does not automatically erase records collected while they were enabled.
Retention of Your Personal Data
Optional app-presence records normally expire after about 90 seconds. Stored built-in browser event and observation records have a 30-day retention policy. Other account, service, security, and operational records are retained as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect MCOMP and its users. Deletion from backups or service providers may take longer.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
We share information with service providers that help run MCOMP, such as authentication, hosting, and security providers, for the purposes described above. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share optional usage reports with advertisers.
Security of Your Personal Data
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Access to account and organization information is limited by the service's authentication and authorization controls.
Your Rights under the GDPR
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your information, and to withdraw consent for optional collection. You can change optional collection in Privacy choices. To make another privacy request, contact us below. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.
Your Rights under the CCPA/CPRA
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to limit certain uses. Contact us below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when the law permits or requires it.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will publish an updated date and give additional notice when required.
